Driving from Dunedin to Te Anau, Feb 7

We loved Dunedin and the Otago Peninsula. There is a wonderful downtown area called The Octogan with great restaurants, shops and most importantly free wifi. Being a tourist is tiring. We did three fabulous activities today. But saved some for another visit...Royal Albatross Centre, Penguin Beach, Wildlife Tour, Harbor Cruise, Otago Settler's Museum and a return to the NZ Marine Studies Centre.

We couldn't resist stopping for a picture of this most unusual fund raiser by the local, Milton, Lion's Club.

    We loved Dunedin and the Otago Peninsula, too. In fact Dunedin is my favorite city on the South Island. Sounds like you enjoyed it as much as we did.
